Amazon has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Corporation (APMSMEDC) to help MSMEs, entrepreneurs, weavers, artisans, and producers in the state expand their global reach through the Amazon Global Selling programme.
As part of the collaboration, Amazon will organise knowledge-sharing sessions focused on key aspects of cross-border e-commerce, including global marketplace operations, export readiness, compliance requirements, logistics management, and sustainable business scaling strategies.
The initiative will also support the development of training modules across Andhra Pradesh, providing on-ground assistance and guidance to businesses beginning their export journey through e-commerce platforms.
Commenting on the partnership, India SME Forum President Vinod Kumar said the collaboration between Amazon Global Selling and APMSMEDC is expected to create significant opportunities for thousands of MSMEs in the state, enabling them to participate more effectively in global trade with improved confidence and capabilities.
