AP’s Investment Jackpot: ₹39k Cr Approved for 31 New Projects

The Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board has approved 31 new investment proposals worth ₹39,436 crore, with the potential to create 1,11,278 direct jobs across a range of sectors.

The approvals were cleared during the board’s 16th meeting held at the State Secretariat in Amaravati, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Key proposals include investments from three companies in the Amaravati Quantum Valley initiative, as well as projects aimed at converting agricultural, horticultural, and aquaculture waste into value-added products such as ethanol—supporting both sustainability and rural economic growth.

During the meeting, Naidu highlighted the importance of tapping the state’s significant solar energy potential. He called for a focused effort to develop the Rayalaseema region into a major renewable energy hub, positioning it as a key driver of the state’s clean energy ambitions.
