Aptiv Expands in India with New Chennai Tech Centre

Aptiv PLC, a global leader in advanced mobility technologies, has inaugurated its new Software, Advanced Safety & User Experience (AS&UX) Technical Centre in Chennai, expanding its footprint in India.

This marks Aptiv’s second facility in Chennai and fourth nationwide, complementing its existing centres in Pune and Bengaluru. The new centre will house AI/ML-powered labs focused on accelerating the development of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Part of a $60 million investment announced earlier, the facility is expected to host up to 500 engineers by 2026 and will feature state-of-the-art infrastructure for AI, machine learning, and safety-critical systems development.

The expansion reinforces Aptiv’s commitment to innovation and engineering excellence in India’s growing automotive technology landscape.
