Bengaluru Becomes Home to FM Global's Premier Global Hub

FM Global, one of the world’s leading commercial property insurers, is set to establish its largest office outside the United States in Bengaluru.

The 100,000 sq. ft. facility, located in Manyata Tech Park, will function as both a client experience centre and an innovation hub.

"After evaluating several cities across Asia, we chose Bengaluru for its deep engineering talent, thriving AI and startup ecosystem, and proximity to premier research institutions like IISc," said Srini Krishnamurthy, Senior Vice President, FM India.

The new centre will drive initiatives in data science, artificial intelligence, risk engineering, and digital product development, reflecting FM Global’s core philosophy of loss prevention over claims processing. While the company has had a presence in India since 2003, this marks a major expansion of its operations in the region.

The facility will also house fire and sprinkler testing labs, advanced simulation platforms, and client training infrastructure. Additionally, FM Global plans to launch a sales office in Mumbai later this year.
