Goa is gearing up for a major high-tech transformation as the Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) moves forward with the Hello World Innovation & Research Park. Located in Phase IV of the Verna industrial estate across a sprawling four lakh square meters, the park is designed to bridge the gap between traditional manufacturing and cutting-edge technology. With three of its six primary plots already assigned, the project aims to create 35,000 high-skilled white-collar jobs. According to Industries Minister Mauvin Godinho, the ecosystem will allow manufacturing giants to decouple their R&D and office functions from factory floors, placing research teams and tech firms side-by-side to spark collaborative innovation and advanced industrial growth.
