CP PLUS, a leading security and surveillance brand under Aditya Infotech Ltd (AIL), has announced a strategic partnership with L&T Semiconductor Technologies (LTSCT), a wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro.
Under this collaboration, CP PLUS will manufacture nine million CCTV IP cameras over the next three years, powered by LTSCT’s indigenously developed Vision System-on-Chip (SoC). These advanced SoCs support up to 8MP high-resolution imaging and incorporate robust cryptographic architecture to ensure enhanced cybersecurity.
Entirely designed and developed in India, the chips represent a major milestone in domestic semiconductor innovation and align with the Government of India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. The partnership is expected to significantly reduce dependence on imported chipsets, strengthen India’s position in the global security and semiconductor landscape, and create local employment and R&D opportunities.
This collaboration underscores a growing focus on technological self-reliance and the expansion of India’s domestic electronics manufacturing ecosystem.
