HFCL’s ₹1,570 Cr Leap into Aerospace and Defence Electronics

HFCL Limited has announced a strategic expansion of its defence business through its subsidiary, HFCL Advance Systems Private Limited (HASPL), backed by a confirmed export order book of ₹1,570 crore in aeronautical manufacturing.

As part of this expansion, HASPL will acquire a 100% stake in Spiral EHL Engineering Limited. Spiral will, in turn, acquire the aerostructure and aeronautics business of Defsys Solutions Private Limited on a slump sale basis.

Additionally, HASPL will acquire an 80% stake in Raddef Private Limited, further strengthening HFCL’s capabilities in indigenous defence electronics.

The move is expected to enhance HFCL’s presence in the defence sector while complementing its existing Thermal Weapon Sight (TWS) portfolio, positioning the company for deeper participation in high-value defence and aerospace programs.
