Machilipatnam Set for Rs 200 Crore Clean Water Mega-Upgrade

A major infrastructure boost is underway in Machilipatnam, where the Andhra Pradesh government has greenlit a Rs 200 crore Jal Jeevan Mission project to bring safe, reliable tap water to every household in the constituency. Minister Kollu Ravindra and APSRTC Chairman Konakalla Narayana Rao officially inaugurated the works in Campbellpet. By replacing aged pipelines, laying new distribution networks, and connecting major lines to regional reservoirs, the initiative will eliminate supply gaps and deliver pressurized drinking water directly to rural communities.
