Tamil Nadu has entered into a strategic partnership with Bengaluru-based ANSR, a global leader in establishing Global Capability Centres (GCCs), to reinforce the state’s position as a hub for high-value technology and engineering services.
The agreement, signed by the state’s investment promotion agency, Guidance, is a key step in Tamil Nadu’s efforts to expand its GCC ecosystem, which plays a crucial role in corporate digital transformations. TRB Rajaa, Tamil Nadu’s Minister for Industries, stated that the partnership will attract “the next wave of global corporations” and enhance the state’s competitiveness in the GCC sector.
ANSR’s CEO, Lalit Ahuja, lauded Tamil Nadu for providing “all the ingredients” needed to excel in the GCC space, highlighting the state’s skilled workforce and innovative ecosystem. With over 200 GCCs and a workforce exceeding 200,000, ANSR brings two decades of expertise across diverse high-tech domains.
