Optimum & ABeam: Building Japan's Next-Gen Tech Hub

Singapore-based Optimum Solutions and Japan-based ABeam Consulting have jointly launched a Global Capability Centre (GCC) focused on delivering services to clients in Japan.

The centre is expected to begin operations with a workforce of around 150–165 employees in 2025–26. The companies plan to double headcount each year over the next three to four years, with a long-term target of reaching 2,000 employees by 2030.

“The GCC brings together engineering capability from Singapore and consulting expertise from Japan to support global digital transformation programmes,” said Balwant Jain, Chief Executive Officer of Optimum Solutions, in an interview.

The initiative aligns with the companies’ broader strategy to expand their international footprint and strengthen service offerings tailored to Japanese enterprises undergoing large-scale digital transformation.
