PM Modi Unveils Rs. 68,400 Crore Projects in Odisha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a visit to Odisha on Saturday afternoon, where he will unveil a comprehensive array of projects valued at Rs. 68,400 crore in the state. The focal point of this occasion is the inauguration of the new campus of IIM-Sambalpur, reflecting a substantial Rs. 400-crore investment in bolstering the educational infrastructure.

Anticipated to touch down at Jharsuguda airport around 1 pm, Prime Minister Modi will then proceed to inaugurate the IIM-Sambalpur campus. Accompanying him during this inaugural event will be Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Governor Raghubar Das, and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Beyond the inauguration of the IIM-Sambalpur campus, the Prime Minister is slated to unveil an array of infrastructure projects amounting to Rs. 68,000 crore. These initiatives span across diverse sectors, such as power, roads, and railways, significantly contributing to the overall development of the state.

A public meeting is scheduled at 3 pm at Remed Ground, where Prime Minister Modi is expected to address the citizens before proceeding to Guwahati. Stringent security measures have been implemented to ensure a seamless and secure visit by the Prime Minister to Odisha.
