Skyward Bound: Dhaksha Launches New Drone Facility

Coromandel International’s subsidiary, Dhaksha Unmanned Systems, has launched a state-of-the-art drone manufacturing plant in the Aymicheri region of Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. Inaugurated on August 24, 2026, by Executive Chairman Arjun Alagappan, the facility features dedicated production lines for both defence and agricultural applications—including two newly unveiled agricultural drone models. Designed to foster technology partnerships, the hub will bolster India's indigenous drone ecosystem while expanding localized sourcing and service networks nationwide.
