Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited (TBAL), a joint venture between Boeing and Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL), reached a major milestone by rolling out its 400th "Made in India" fuselage for the AH-64E Apache attack helicopter.
Celebrated on 7 September 2026 at TBAL's advanced 52,000-square-metre manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, the event was attended by senior leadership from both companies. Built entirely through domestic manufacturing capabilities—utilizing robotics, automation, and a skilled workforce of over 750 engineers and technicians—these aerostructures are integrated into Apache helicopters deployed by global defense forces, including the US Army.
This milestone further reinforces the facility's pivotal role in supporting regional and international fleets, following the delivery of six Apache helicopters to the Indian Army in 2025 and supporting the Indian Air Force's operational fleet. The continuous scaling of production highlights the maturation of India's aerospace manufacturing ecosystem and its deepening integration into global defense supply chains.
