Wilder, Greener, Better: The BVG India Resort at Dudhwa

Uttar Pradesh is set to develop a new eco-tourism destination near Dudhwa National Park through a collaboration between BVG India and the Uttar Pradesh Eco Tourism Development Board (UPETDB).

As part of the initiative, BVG India is developing the BVG India Resort at Chandan Chowki in Lakhimpur Kheri district. Spread across five acres, the resort is scheduled to become fully operational by March 2026 and will serve as the anchor project for the eco-tourism hub. Envisioned as a nature-led retreat, the resort will focus on wellness, sustainability, and the promotion of local culture.

Designed with environmentally sensitive, low-impact architecture, the resort aims to blend seamlessly with its forest surroundings while offering modern hospitality facilities. These include multiple accommodation options, recreational amenities, food and beverage services, and spaces for conferences and social events. BVG India will be responsible for the project’s end-to-end execution, including planning, financing, development, operations and maintenance, as well as securing regulatory approvals and undertaking marketing activities.

Commenting on the project, Hanmantrao Gaikwad, Chairman of BVG India, said, “The BVG India Resort reflects our belief that tourism should respect nature while creating meaningful opportunities for local communities. Through this project near Dudhwa, we aim to offer visitors an authentic experience of the region’s natural beauty and cultural heritage, while preserving its ecological integrity.”
