Wonderla's Next Wonder: Chennai Park to Redefine Indian Amusement.

Wonderla Holidays, India’s leading amusement park operator, has announced the launch of its most ambitious project to date—Wonderla Chennai.

Spread across 64.30 acres (with 37 acres developed), the park blends futuristic design elements with traditional Tamil architectural influences. Located on Chennai’s Old Mahabalipuram Road, the project represents an investment of over ₹611 crore. Wonderla Chennai will open to the public on 02 December 2025, following an inauguration by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on 01 December 2025.

Featuring 43 world-class rides across thrill, family, kids, and water categories, the park is designed to accommodate up to 6,500 visitors per day. The announcement was made at a press conference attended by Arun K. Chittilappilly (Executive Chairman), Dheeran Choudhary (COO), Ajikrishnan A. G. (VP – Engineering), and Vyshakh Ravindran (Park Head – Chennai).
