Woodside’s Indian Expansion: The Bengaluru Tech Play

Woodside Energy Group, headquartered in Perth, is set to establish a new office in Bengaluru, according to a recent update shared by the company on LinkedIn.

The Australian energy major has begun hiring for several roles, including AI Manager, Team Lead – Cyber Defence, and Onshore Manager, signaling that recruitment activities are already in progress.

The move highlights Woodside’s strategy to leverage India’s strong technology and engineering talent base, as multinational corporations continue to expand their footprint in the country to strengthen digital, cybersecurity, and operational capabilities.
