Tillari Project Upgrade: ₹156 Cr Tenders Now Open!

The Water Resources Department, Maharashtra, has invited bids for the renovation of the Tillari Right Bank Canal and Banda Branch Canal in Sindhudurg district.

As part of the Canal Rehabilitation and Improvement Programme under the Tillari Interstate Project, the work covers a total length of 57 km—27 km for the Tillari Right Bank Canal and 30 km for the Banda Branch Canal. The project, valued at ₹156.31 crore, involves the rehabilitation and enhancement of these canals to improve water distribution for irrigation.

The contract is scheduled for completion within 36 months and forms part of broader efforts to strengthen canal infrastructure and promote sustainable water management for agriculture in the region.

The deadline for bid submission is 27 January 2026.
