Ashti Awaits: GMIDC Seeks Bids for Rs 1108 Cr Irrigation Lifeline

The Godavari Marathwada Irrigation Development Corporation (GMIDC) has issued a tender for the construction of Ashti Lift Irrigation Scheme No.3, connecting Solapur to Beed in Maharashtra.

The project involves the comprehensive execution, testing, and commissioning of the lift irrigation system as part of the Krishna Marathwada Lift Irrigation Scheme (KMIP). This includes civil, mechanical, and electrical components, extending from Shimpora village in Karmala, Solapur, to the Khuntephal storage tank in Ashti taluka, Beed district.

Valued at Rs 1108.78 crore, the contract is anticipated to reach completion within 48 months. Prospective bidders are required to submit their proposals by the deadline of 01 February 2024.
