Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has invited bids for mining, handling, and transportation services at the Gauri-Pauni Expansion Opencast (OC) Mine, located in the Ballarpur area of Maharashtra.
The tender is based on a percentage quote format and covers key operations such as overburden (OB) removal, coal extraction, and hydraulic-operated excavator (HOE) work. Structured for a five-year duration, the contract reflects WCL’s focus on long-term, large-scale coal mining operations.
The scope of work involves integrated handling, mechanized excavation, and coal transportation, in line with the company’s objective to maintain a consistent coal supply for the industrial and power sectors.
The last date for bid submission is 03 October 2025.
