GAIL (India) has floated a tender to hire an agency for laying steel gas pipelines in the TTZ and Mughalsarai Geographical Areas (covering Mirzapur, Chandauli, and Sonbhadra districts) in Uttar Pradesh.
The appointed agency will be responsible for executing pipeline-laying works in accordance with prescribed technical specifications and safety norms, supporting the expansion of natural gas distribution infrastructure in the region. The initiative forms part of GAIL’s broader strategy to strengthen its gas network and enhance energy access across key districts.
Bids may be submitted until the deadline of 16 December 2025.
