MECON Tender: Baitarani Coal Mine Geotechnical Study

MECON Limited has issued a tender for a comprehensive geotechnical investigation for the Baitarani (West) Coal Mining Project, operated by Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC), located in the Talcher Coalfield, Odisha.

The objective of the study is to evaluate geological conditions, mine stability, strata behavior, and other key geotechnical parameters critical for ensuring safe, efficient, and scientifically sound mining operations. This initiative aligns with GMDC’s ongoing efforts to enhance its coal mining capabilities in eastern India, emphasizing safety, sustainability, and productivity.

Eligible and interested bidders are invited to submit their proposals in accordance with MECON’s specified guidelines.

The deadline for bid submission is 05 September 2025.
