New Tender Alert: Civil Works for Oil India’s Mahanadi Project

Oil India has floated a tender for civil engineering surveys and associated works for drilling rigs at five locations in Open Acreage Licensing Policy (OALP) blocks under the Mahanadi Basin project in Odisha.

The scope of work includes land acquisition, detailed civil and topographical surveys, soil testing and geotechnical investigations, and the engineering design of reinforced cement concrete (RCC) foundations for drilling rigs. The activities will be carried out across eight districts—Puri, Khurda, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore—supporting onshore oil and natural gas exploration and production.

The contract period is two years from the date of mobilisation, with a provision for extension by one additional year on the same terms and rates. The assignment is aimed at enabling safe and efficient drilling operations through robust site preparation and foundation design.

The deadline for bid submission is 9 January 2026.
