Aarnea Biodome plans to set up Pharmaceutical Unit Project in Gujarat

Aarnea Biodome Private Limited plans to establish a new active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) facility in the Rajkot, Gujarat neighborhood of Rangpar. The undertaking is estimated to cost approximately 7 crore rupees and will employ approximately one thousand people. The API plant will produce APIs for various pharmaceutical medications, including anti-cancer drugs, anti-infective drugs, and cardiovascular drugs. By 2025, the facility is anticipated to be operational.The pharmaceutical corporation Aarnea Biodome is headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The company was established in 2017 and conducts research, development, and production of APIs. In addition to its manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad, the company is constructing a new API plant in Rangpar.Aarnea Biodome has made a significant investment in the Rangpar API initiative. 

The initiative will contribute to the expansion of the pharmaceutical industry in Gujarat and the creation of jobs. The initiative is also anticipated to contribute to the region's economic growth.The project's total water demand shall not exceed 124,19 KLD. The unit is required to utilize 83,01 KLD of treated industrial effluent on-site. Therefore, the fresh water demand cannot exceed 41.18 KLD.Concentrated stream i.e. from Process (82.7 KLD (52.38 KLD Ammonical wastewater and 30.32 KLD Non Ammonical Wastewater)), cleansing 2 KLD and 6.96 KLD from Scrubber shall be generated. 52.38 KLD of ammonia-containing effluent must be passed through an ammonia stripper (output of 50 KLD from the ammonia stripper). 30.32 KLD Non Ammonical wastewater form process, 50 KLD effluent from Ammonia stripper and 2 KLD cleansing wastewater shall be treated in VOC stripper. 80 KLD VOC scrubber effluent and 6.96 KLD From scrubber and 40 KLD RO-2 reject, MEE and ATFD shall be applied. o< MEE and ATFD condensate 101.56 KLD, 0.4 KLD boiler blow down, 17.71 KLD RO-1 Reject, 2.03 KLD cooling tower blow down and 1.31 KLD Domestic wastewater shall be treated in ETP.Here are some of the benefits of the Aarnea Biodome API project:

As of September 2023, The project is now in the stage of construction being started the work on the project will be finished in 2024, 2025 or 2026 It has been decided to hire a local contractor.
