Active Pharm Chemicals LLP has been granted environmental approval for its bulk pharmaceuticals intermediates manufacturing unit project in Dahej, Bharuch, Gujarat.The project is anticipated to have a monthly capacity of 50,1 MT and will be used to produce a range of bulk pharmaceuticals and intermediates, including APIs for anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant, and antidepressant drugs.The project is located in the Dahej Industrial Estate, a significant pharmaceutical industry hub. The location has access to a qualified labour pool and is well-connected to transportation networks.
The Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) has granted environmental sanction to the business. The GPCB has imposed several conditions on the project, including the use of pollution control apparatus and environmentally responsible waste disposal.The endeavour is anticipated to generate approximately 100 construction jobs and approximately 50 permanent positions. The initiative is also anticipated to stimulate the regional economy by creating jobs and generating revenue.
The expected environmental impact of the endeavour is minimal. The company has pledged to use pollution control equipment and dispose of refuse in an eco-friendly manner.Additionally, the project is situated in a designated industrial area, minimizing its impact on sensitive areas such as residential neighbourhoods and agricultural land.Daily Treated Effluents are 2.5 Kiloliters.The endeavour will cost a total of Rs. 9,75 Crores.
As of September 2023, The project is in the final stages of completion work on the project is finished between 75% & 80% of the time the work on the project will be finished by 2023 or 2024.
