US biopharma giant Amgen is set to invest USD 200 million in its new facility in Telangana in 2025, with plans for additional substantial investments, as announced by CEO Robert Bradway during the facility's inauguration.
Telangana's Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, who officially opened the centre, underscored the state's ambition to become a USD one trillion economy and play a prominent role in the "China Plus One" strategy. He highlighted Telangana's leadership in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, and biotech sectors, with a vision to make Hyderabad one of the world's leading cities.
"We are committed to your success, your growth, and your long-term vision," the CM said, encouraging Amgen to focus on research collaborations, skill development, and partnerships with academic institutions.
