Glucosynth Life Sciences Grows Stronger: 16 Crore Expansion in Karnataka

Glucosynth Life Sciences is on the brink of a significant expansion with its Bulk Drugs & Intermediates Unit project in the Kadechur Industrial Area, Yadgir District, Karnataka. The venture, requiring an investment of 16 Crores, is designed to contribute to the pharmaceutical industry's growth in the region.

Covering an area of 3 acres, as outlined in the ebiz Karnataka document, the project's specifics include the production of bulk drugs and intermediates, although the exact product details remain undisclosed. Glucosynth Life Sciences anticipates the creation of 80 jobs, enhancing local employment opportunities in the Yadgir district.

To facilitate operations, the project is expected to draw 8000 LPD of water from KIADB and utilize 100 KVA of power from BESCOM. As of January 24, 2024, the project is in its preliminary stages, with Glucosynth Life Sciences seeking land allotment from KIADB. The KIADB committee has recommended the project to SLSWCC for approval, marking a crucial step toward realizing the company's expansion plans.

While detailed project timelines and construction status are yet to be disclosed, this initiative aligns with Glucosynth Life Sciences' broader strategy to bolster its presence in the bulk drugs and intermediates segment. As a company with an established manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, Telangana, Glucosynth Life Sciences is poised to make a considerable impact on Karnataka's pharmaceutical landscape with this ambitious project.
