Navitus Chemicals Targets 1850 MTPA with New APIs Unit in Maharashtra

The Pharmaceuticals Intermediates Manufacturing Unit Project at Umred MIDC, Nagpur, Maharashtra, is a major project for Navitus Chemicals Private Limited. With a 13 crore investment, this project seeks to increase output levels to 1850 MTPA of various pharmaceutical intermediates. Meeting domestic and worldwide demand, improving Navitus Chemicals' output, and creating local jobs are the main goals.

The project includes building a modern manufacturing plant with cutting-edge gear and installing infrastructure and services. Recruitment and training of skilled workers, together with strict quality control and environmental management systems, are essential for sustainable and efficient operations.

Significantly, this enterprise has several advantages. Increased pharmaceutical intermediate manufacturing would boost India's pharmaceutical sector and provide jobs for skilled and unskilled people. As on December 2023, The project is now in the stage of construction being started. The completion of the project's work has reached the 60% mark. The work on the project will be finished by June of 2024.
