PM Modi Seeds Healthcare Revolution in Rewari with AIIMS Foundation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the foundation stone laying ceremony of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rewari in Haryana, marking a significant milestone in healthcare infrastructure development. Additionally, he dedicated to the nation and initiated the groundwork for a multitude of transformative projects spanning urban transport, healthcare, railway, and tourism sectors, collectively valued at over Rs 9,770 crore.

The AIIMS-Rewari, projected to require an investment of approximately Rs 1,650 crore, will be established across 203 acres of land in Majra Bhalkhi village. It will encompass a state-of-the-art hospital complex with 720 beds, a distinguished medical college with 100 seats, a nursing college accommodating 60 seats, an AYUSH block comprising 30 beds, residential facilities for faculty and staff, as well as hostel accommodations for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Furthermore, amenities such as a night shelter and guesthouse will be provided.

Funded under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), AIIMS-Rewari aims to deliver comprehensive, high-quality, and holistic tertiary healthcare services to the residents of Haryana and beyond. In addition to AIIMS-Rewari, Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation stone for the Gurugram Metro Rail project, a crucial initiative anticipated to cost approximately Rs 5,450 crore.

Spanning a total length of 28.5 km, this project will establish vital connectivity from Millennium City Centre to Udyog Vihar Phase-V, seamlessly integrating with the existing metro network of Rapid Metro Rail Gurugram at Moulsari Avenue station near Cyber City. The project signifies a significant stride towards realizing the government's vision of providing citizens with world-class, eco-friendly mass rapid urban transport systems.

Moreover, the Prime Minister also inaugurated the newly-constructed Anubhav Kendra Jyotisar in Kurukshetra. This experiential museum, sprawled across 17 acres with over 1,00,000 sq. ft. of indoor space, has been meticulously crafted at an approximate cost of Rs 240 crore. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as augmented reality (AR), 3D laser, and projection mapping, the museum aims to enrich visitors' experiences and deepen their understanding of cultural and historical narratives.
