Sarshika Pharmachem LLP aims to build a Bulk Drugs Intermediates Unit in Karnataka

Indian pharmaceutical giant Sarshika Pharmachem LLP aims to build a cutting-edge Bulk Drugs Intermediates Manufacturing Unit (BDIMU) at Vasanthanarasapura, Tumakuru, Karnataka. The 15.4-crore project is scheduled for completion in 2025. The BDIMU is a major milestone in the company's strategy to advance pharmaceuticals and fulfill demand for essential pharmacological intermediates.

This cutting-edge facility may promote Indian pharmaceuticals. For local and global markets, it makes paracetamol, ibuprofen, and metformin. The BDIMU delivers life-saving pharmaceutical components to help the industry satisfy medical needs and increase global healthcare access.

This project is supported by Sarshika Pharmachem LLP's sustainability. The BDIMU will use green measures to lessen its environmental effect. The unit uses renewable energy, energy-efficient technology, and waste management to improve operations and the environment.

As on December 2023, The project is currently in the stage of being approved currently awaiting approval from the government.
