SRR Laboratories will Manufacturing Bulk Drugs & Internediates in Telangana

SRR Laboratories, a leading pharmaceutical company, today announced its plans to set up a Bulk Drugs & Intermediates Manufacturing Unit at Sy No 299 & Pads, Dondapadu Village, Suryapet District, Telangana. The project, with an estimated capacity of 129 Tonnes/Month, is expected to strengthen the pharmaceutical industry in the region and contribute to the country's self-reliance in critical drug manufacturing. Total Cost of the Project is 15 Crores.

The establishment of this manufacturing unit is a significant step towards reinforcing India's position as a global leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The project will aid in reducing the country's dependence on imports of bulk drugs and intermediates, while also enhancing the availability of essential medicines

The project is anticipated to have a positive impact on the economy of Telangana, generating employment opportunities and attracting further investments in the pharmaceutical sector. The state government has extended its support for the project, recognizing its potential to contribute to the region's economic growth.

As on November 2023, The project is currently in the stage of being approved currently awaiting approval from the government.
