Swarna Chemicals plans to set up Pharmaceutical Project in Gujarat

Swarna Chemicals intends to establish a new Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) project in Panoli, Gujarat. The project is still in the planning stages, and no environmental permits have been obtained. The projected API project will have a monthly output capacity of 30 Tns. 

The company will produce APIs for a variety of pharmaceutical goods, including antibiotics, anti-cancer treatments, and diabetes medications. The project's budget is Rs. 6 crore. The project is projected to employ approximately 100 people directly and approximately 200 people indirectly. 

The project is expected to strengthen the region's economy and assist meet the country's growing need for APIs. As of September 2023, The project is now in the stage of construction being started the work on the project will be finished in 2024, 2025 or 2026 It has been decided to hire a local contractor.
