NGEL: New 6.6 MW Green Power Ready in Gujarat

NTPC Green Energy Ltd. (NGEL) has begun commercial power supply of 6.6 MW from its 100 MW hybrid renewable project located in Bhuj, Gujarat.

This marks a key milestone in the wind component of the 100 MW hybrid project, developed in partnership with Ayana Renewable Power Four— a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power— and ONGC NTPC Green, the joint venture between ONGC and NTPC. With this additional 6.6 MW, NGEL’s total installed capacity has increased to 7,645.675 MW from the previous 7,639.075 MW, further strengthening its renewable energy portfolio.

Consequently, NTPC Group’s total installed and commercial capacity has reached 84,931 MW, underscoring a significant advancement in the company’s ongoing commitment to expanding its clean energy footprint and supporting sustainable development goals.
