The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has invited bids for the establishment of four 33/11 kV electric substations at NBCC Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi.
The project scope includes the supply and installation of 33 kV hybrid GIS switchgear and control panels, 20/25 MVA 33/11 kV power transformers, 1250 kVA distribution transformers, 11 kV hybrid GIS systems, capacitor banks, battery units with chargers, DCDB and ACDB panels, and earthing systems—all from reputed manufacturers.
Valued at ₹150.62 crore, the contract has a completion timeline of 24 months from the date of issuance of the Letter of Commencement (LOC).
This initiative is part of NDMC’s broader strategy to modernise and strengthen New Delhi’s power infrastructure, aiming to improve distribution efficiency and reliability.
The deadline for bid submission is 29 October 2025.
