NTPC: 132 kV GIS Substation Bid for Green Hydrogen Hub

NTPC has invited bids for the development of a 132 kV GIS substation for the NGEL Green Hydrogen Hub at Pudimadaka, Andhra Pradesh.

The project is being offered on a turnkey basis and includes an 80 MVA, 132/33 kV power transformer, 33 kV HT switchgear, and 415 V LT switchgear. The scope covers design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the substation, along with five years of operation and maintenance (O&M). The project will also feature integrated safety systems, including firefighting facilities, gas detection, and ventilation.

All facilities, including the GIS, power transformers, and switchgear, are expected to be completed and commissioned within one year from the award of the contract.

The deadline for bid submission is 6 January 2026.
