The Adani Group is venturing into atomic energy, unveiling a bold roadmap to build 10 GW of nuclear power capacity by 2035. Announcing the launch of 'Adani Atomic Energy' at the company’s AGM, Chairman Gautam Adani confirmed that land identification for the project is already complete.
The nuclear initiative adds a critical clean energy vertical to Adani Power's massive ₹2-lakh-crore expansion strategy, which aims to drive total generation capacity to 45 GW over the next five years. Backed by a record ₹1.5-lakh-crore infrastructure investment in FY2025–26, the move marks a significant shift toward securing sustainable baseload power. As India accelerates its green transition, Adani’s entry into nuclear technology positions the conglomerate at the forefront of the nation's next-generation utility landscape.
