Advait Energy Transitions has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Norway-based TECO Fuel Cell Technology AS during the 3rd India–Nordic Summit held in Oslo.
The agreement was signed by Advait Managing Director Shalin Sheth and TECO CEO Tore Enger in the presence of Narendra Modi and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre during PM Modi’s diplomatic visit to Norway.
The partnership will focus on bringing a jointly developed 400 kW hydrogen fuel cell module and a 100 kW fuel cell stack to India for scalable local manufacturing. These technologies have been co-developed with Austrian engineering partner AVL List. The collaboration targets three key sectors: stationary power solutions by Q1 2027, heavy-duty transportation by Q1 2028, and maritime shipping applications through 2028.
Aligned with India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative and the National Green Hydrogen Mission, the collaboration includes complete technology transfer and long-term technical cooperation aimed at strengthening India’s domestic clean energy manufacturing ecosystem. The initiative is also expected to create more than 200 skilled jobs by 2032 across engineering, integration, and production functions.
