Bessco Power and Renergo Developers have announced a joint venture (JV) to develop 1,000 MW of renewable energy projects over the next 18 to 24 months.
The partnership will focus on expanding clean energy infrastructure in India and Nepal, primarily targeting utility-scale solar projects while also exploring opportunities in compressed biogas (CBG), green hydrogen, and green ammonia. The collaboration aligns with the region’s growing focus on renewable energy and sustainability.
Rajeev Chhikara, Founder and Chairman of Bessco Power, said the partnership marks a significant step toward building scalable renewable energy infrastructure in South Asia.
Nishant Goyal, Co-Founder of Renergo Developers, noted that the collaboration will help unlock large-scale renewable opportunities across both markets. Mayank Rohilla, Co-Founder, added that the joint venture aims to develop a diversified clean energy portfolio across emerging technologies.
