The Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency (BREDA) is planning to develop a new grid-connected ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) project with a capacity of 250 MW in Bihar. The project is estimated to cost Rs. 1000 crores and is expected to generate 420 MU (million units) of electricity annually.
The project is part of the Bihar government's initiative to increase the state's renewable energy capacity to 20% by 2030. The project is also expected to create new jobs in the region and boost the local economy.
