EKI Energy Services' subsidiary, GHS Reduction Technologies, has inaugurated its pioneering biomass briquettes manufacturing facility in Dindori, Nashik, Maharashtra. This cutting-edge plant boasts an initial production capacity of 800 tonnes per month, with plans for expansion up to 1,200 tonnes monthly. The establishment of this plant heralds a new era in the biofuel sector, aligning seamlessly with EKI's overarching commitment to fostering the production of environmentally sustainable products that significantly mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.
The introduction of biomass briquettes as a clean and renewable alternative to conventional coal marks a pivotal moment in environmental stewardship and the pursuit of eco-friendly energy solutions. These briquettes, derived from agri-residues such as sugarcane trash, corn cob, soya husk, tamarind, and pomegranate waste, offer a compelling substitute for coal in various industrial applications, including boilers and furnaces.
This initiative not only underscores EKI's dedication to environmental conservation but also positions the company at the forefront of the green energy revolution. By catalyzing the widespread adoption of biomass briquettes, EKI aims to drive tangible reductions in carbon emissions, thereby contributing to a more sustainable future for generations to come.
