NHPC's Kuppa PSP: A Temporary Pause in Progress

NHPC Ltd has announced that the survey and investigation works for the 750 MW Kuppa Pumped Storage Project in Chhota Udaipur, Gujarat, have been temporarily paused due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the company’s control.

The work is expected to resume as soon as possible.

Consequently, NHPC has revised the anticipated timeline for the project’s investment, delaying the start from FY 2024-25 to FY 2025-26.

The company remains committed to advancing the project as soon as conditions permit.
