PFC Transfers Satara Power Transmission SPV to Adani Energy

Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has completed the transfer of Satara Power Transmission to Adani Energy Solutions after the latter emerged as the successful bidder under competitive tariff-based bidding.

The transmission SPV, established under PFC Consulting, will develop a key network expansion scheme in the Western Region to evacuate power from pumped storage projects near Satara, with capacity to support up to 4,500 MW under Part A.

The project is aimed at strengthening regional transmission capacity and facilitating the integration of large-scale renewable energy and pumped storage generation into the national grid.
