Saluja Steel & Power Plans a Captive Power Plant in Jharkhand

Saluja Steel & Power Private Limited (SSPPL) is coming up with a new Captive Power Plant Project at Mohanpur Village, Giridih, Jharkhand - Expansion. The project cost is estimated to be 96 crores.

The project is expected to be completed in two phases. The first phase is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. The project will have a capacity to generate 20 MW of power.

In addition to the above, the project is also expected to have a positive impact on the environment. The captive power plant will use waste heat from the steel manufacturing process to generate electricity. This will help to reduce the company's carbon footprint and improve its environmental performance.
