Shri Prabhulingeshwar Sugars plans a Co-gen Power in Karnataka

Shri Prabhulingeshwar Sugars and Chemicals Limited plans to expand its sugar plant from 8,500 TCD to 12,000 TCD and its co-generation power plant from 40 MW to 55.5 MW at Siddapur in Bagalkot District, Karnataka. 

The total cost of the project is estimated to be Rs. 166 crores.

Increased production capacity: The expansion project will increase the production capacity of the sugar plant from 8,500 TCD to 12,000 TCD and the co-generation power plant from 40 MW to 55.5 MW. This will help the company to meet the growing demand for its products and expand its market share.

The project is now in the stage of receiving approvals. The project has received all necessary clearances. By the end of the year 2023, development on the project will have begun.
