SJVN Limited has successfully wrapped up the rigorous 72-hour trial run for Unit-2 (660 MW) of its flagship 1,320 MW Buxar Thermal Power Project located in Bihar, clearing the crucial path toward full commercial operations.
Executed by its wholly-owned subsidiary, SJVN Thermal Private Limited (STPL), the facility utilizes advanced supercritical technology integrated with state-of-the-art emission control systems to maximize efficiency and minimize environmental footprint. Upon the complete commissioning of both 660 MW units, the plant is slated to feed approximately 9,828.72 million units of electricity annually into the grid, substantially bolstering regional power infrastructure in Bihar and expanding SJVN's thermal footprint.
