Sterlite Power Secures ₹1,400 Crore in Global Orders

Sterlite Power, a leading player in the private sector for power transmission infrastructure development, proudly announced on Tuesday the successful acquisition of new orders amounting to ₹1,400 crore during the quarter concluding in December 2023. These orders extend across both domestic and international markets, encompassing a diverse range of products such as high-performance power conductors, optical ground wire (OPGW), power cables, and more.

Beyond product orders, Sterlite Power disclosed that it has also garnered interest for specialized Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services, including turnkey EPC for extra high voltage (EHV) and high-voltage (HV) cables within the domestic market. These orders are linked to projects spanning metro infrastructure, data centers, and various power initiatives.

Reflecting on this accomplishment, Manish Agarwal, the CEO of Global Products & Services, remarked, "These order victories underscore the increasing demand for our product offerings in both the Indian and global markets. As the focus on decarbonization intensifies, our suite of high-performance conductors, HV and EHV cables, along with specialized EPC services for cable transmission, continues to play a pivotal role in the ongoing energy transition journey."

Sterlite Power boasts a robust portfolio comprising 33 completed, sold, and ongoing power transmission projects, covering an extensive 15,350 circuit kilometers of transmission lines in India and Brazil.
