Ayesa India Secures Jaipur Metro DDC Contract

DMRC issued a Letter of Acceptance to M/s Ayesa India Pvt. Ltd. in JV with Ayesa Ingenieria Y Arquitectura S.A.U for Detail Design Consultant (DDC) services for Jaipur Metro Phase 1C and 1D. The contract encompasses designing stations, tunnels, viaducts, and building services for specified sections within the project. The contract value is INR 3,19,97,000/- with a completion period of 48 months.

Project Overview:

Jaipur Metro's Phase 1C and 1D expansion cover approximately 3.412 km and 1.352 km of track, respectively, aiming for completion within 4 years. This phase extends the existing Mansarovar-Badi Chaupar line, comprising elevated and underground sections, stations, and a depot at Mansarovar.

Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Limited has started the development of its Phase 1C and 1D which includes a range of 3.412 km and 1.352 Km of lines respectively. This phase has to be realised within the next 4 years.

Under Phase 1 C and Phase 1D, the existing line from Mansarovar to Badi Chaupar will be extended on either end as per details given under Clause 2.1 below. Existing line is approx. 11.566 km long, 8.777 km Elevated and 2.789 km Underground, with 8 Elevated and 3 Underground stations and one depot at Mansarovar.

It is proposed to engage a Detail Design Consultant (DDC) for Civil, Architectural and  Building Services Works for the Phase 1C and 1D of Jaipur Metro Project. This document describes the General Scope of Services to be provided by the Detailed Design Consultant (DDC).

The emphasis is to explain the requirement of work, interfaces with other DDCs/Contractors/DMRC for achieving an efficient and safe system to the best International Standards and Practices. DDC shall follow acceptable standards and design procedures akin to best systems wherever not explicitly mentioned.

Scope of Work:

The DDC's role includes reviewing and optimizing designs, proposing alternatives, and coordinating with contractors and DMRC. Tasks involve detailed designs for civil, architectural, structural, and building services, ensuring compliance with international standards. Responsibilities range from design review to approvals, coordination with authorities, and maintaining quality control throughout construction.

DDC Duties and Responsibilities:

The DDC is tasked with thorough investigations, compliance with project requirements, and obtaining necessary regulatory approvals. The consultant assumes responsibility for the technical accuracy and quality of the services delivered.

Conclusion:

The engagement involves comprehensive design consultancy services to enhance and expand Jaipur Metro's Phase 1C and 1D, ensuring adherence to design standards, efficient coordination among stakeholders, and regulatory compliance.
