Gurugram's Metro Future: Two New Corridors on the Horizon

The Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation (HMRTC) has received a single bid from RITES for the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for two proposed Metro corridors in Gurugram.

The first proposed corridor will run for 17 km from Bhondsi to Gurugram Railway Station, primarily along Sohna Road. It will include key stops at Vatika Chowk, Subhash Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, Sadar Bazar, and the Gurugram bus stand.

The second corridor, measuring 13.6 km, will connect Golf Course Extension Road to Sector-5. Planned stations along this route include Millennium City Centre Metro Station, Signature Tower Crossing, Rana Pratap Chowk, and Atul Kataria Chowk, following the alignment of Sheetla Mata Road.

The tender was issued on March 19, 2025, and is currently under technical evaluation. The financial bid will be opened once the technical assessment is completed.
