Ircon International-Jakson JV has been awarded the lowest bid (L1) for the power supply, electrical, and mechanical (E&M) works for the Mumbai Metro Line-4 and its extension corridor 4A.
The joint venture's bid of Rs 1,526 crore for the Wadala-Kasarvadavali-Gaimukh section of the Mumbai Metro Rail Project, overseen by MMRDA, was selected as the L1 bidder.
The scope of work includes the design, manufacture, supply, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of power supply, traction, electrical and mechanical systems, lifts, and escalators. Additionally, the project will entail 15 years of comprehensive maintenance following a two-year defect liability period (DLP).
