Tracks Upgraded! RVNL Clinches ₹72 Crore Project for North Central Railways

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a prominent player in rail infrastructure, has clinched yet another significant order for a railway project. The company recently disclosed to the exchanges its successful bid as the lowest bidder for a project from North Central Railways.

The project entails the provision of EI-based automatic signalling, continuous track circuiting, and associated works, including indoor alterations in electronic interlocking, RRI, and PI stations. It is designated for the Dhaulpur-Gwalior section of the Jhansi division, North Central Railway, with an estimated value of approximately ₹72.73 crore. The project is slated for completion within 455 days.

This latest order comes in the wake of RVNL securing another substantial contract from Nagpur Metro, valued at around ₹187 crore. The company's stock has witnessed a remarkable surge in response to a robust influx of orders and strong quarterly performance. Over the past month alone, RVNL has amassed orders exceeding ₹700 crore, driving its stock price up by more than 28%.

Despite the positive developments, RVNL's share price experienced a slight dip of 1.39%, settling at ₹371.50 during late trading hours on Tuesday. Investors and industry analysts are closely monitoring RVNL's growth trajectory, anticipating further developments and potential upside in the wake of its recent successes.
