Tunneling Begins: Inside Indore's Historic Metro Project

The Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) "Narmada" has officially commenced underground tunneling from the Airport Station. This marks Indore's very first deployment of a TBM for metro construction. Equipped with a 6.65-meter cutting wheel, 24/7 gas monitoring, and instant emergency mechanisms, the project prioritizes safety and precision as it navigates dense urban terrain with minimal surface disruption.
